Challenge
Our industrial client specializes in plastic fabrication. They have a workshop where certain equipment generated high noise levels throughout the entire space. To reduce noise exposure for its employees, our client wanted to implement improvements without affecting equipment accessibility.

Écib Solution
We implemented custom acoustic treatments to reduce the impact of equipment in the production area. To limit noise propagation, we installed sound-absorbing acoustic screens around the equipment. These acoustic screens were made using our PEGAS’ prima metal acoustic panels.
To limit the reverberation of sound waves on the building's ceiling, we also installed GRAVIT' aeris suspended acoustic baffles above the equipment.
Acoustic Optimization
The position and dimensions of the acoustic screens were specifically defined to limit the propagation of sound waves from the equipment to the rest of the workshop. The networks of acoustic baffles above the equipment are also optimally positioned to ensure an effective acoustic hood effect over noisy equipment. The performance of the implemented solutions was verified at the end of the work by an independent inspection body, confirming that post-installation noise exposure levels comply with regulations.
