Issues
Our industrial customer has a workshop equipped with 6 process fans. The noise generated by this equipment was causing noise exposure levels in excess of regulations for operators working in the area. Our customer wanted to improve the quality of work for its employees, while guaranteeing rapid access to the equipment for monitoring and maintenance operations.
Ecib solution
We produced custom acoustic enclosures for the 6 fans in the production area. Our acoustic enclosures were made from PEGAS' prima metal acoustic panels, with an Rw sound reduction index of 33 dB, to meet the acoustic objectives of bringing the installations into compliance. The acoustic objective was achieved with the installation of our acoustic enclosures, and sound measurements after the work were carried out validated this compliance.
Acoustic Optimization
Acoustic optimization is at the heart of the design of our acoustic enclosures.
Our enclosures are designed by integrating our standard PEGAS'prima acoustic panels, and adapting the principles of hatches, doors and ventilation specially sized for the project. During the design phase, we systematically take into account the customer's specific requirements, to ensure that our enclosures do not impair access to equipment or workstation ergonomics. At the same time, we ensure that the specific features implemented on our enclosures enable us to guarantee the product's overall performance.
For this project, our customer was experiencing noise pollution from its industrial fans. We designed an appropriate enclosure, incorporating removable panels and a silent ventilation system.
