According to the latest ADEME study (2021), transport noise is the main cause of noise annoyance for the population. As part of a renovation project, the acoustic screens along a section of the A86 motorway in the Paris region were rehabilitated. To blend in with the vegetation, the solution of plantable panels was chosen.

As part of the rehabilitation of the noise barriers on either side of a section of the A86 motorway, we supplied AURIG' attis plantable noise barrier panels. These panels offer several advantages: quick installation, double-sided absorption, choice of mesh color for visible surfaces.
Acoustic Optimization
AURIG' attis panels can be integrated with climbing plants or vegetation systems, giving them an ecological and aesthetic dimension. In addition to transforming walls into visually pleasing features, this vegetation helps combat urban heat islands. Plants help to cool the surrounding air through evapotranspiration, improving thermal comfort in areas close to these installations.
The result: successful integration at the boundary between transport infrastructure and housing.
