Issues
Abidjan's Tour F, designed by Ivorian architect Pierre Fakhoury, will soon rise to a height of over 400 meters, making it the tallest tower on the African continent. The tower will house administrative services, offices and an auditorium, among other facilities.
To secure the tower's power supply, three 3175 kVA emergency generators will be installed on the roof. To limit the environmental noise impact of this very noisy equipment, Ecib was asked to provide its expertise in the construction of acoustic containers.

Ecib solution
We produced three custom acoustic containers for this 40-foot-long project. The bespoke design incorporates both the acoustic and aeraulic constraints of the project. To create these containers, we integrated our PEGAS' prima acoustic panels for their high insulation and sound absorption performance. For the container's ventilation system, we used our VIRG' aloa rain screens and ALTAÏR' prima acoustic baffles, designed to reduce the noise that can propagate through the ventilation network.
Acoustic Optimization
For each project, our acoustic containers are optimized to guarantee the acoustic performance required in the specifications. Acoustic optimization enables the acoustic solutions to be integrated (panels, silencers, grilles, etc.) to be sized as accurately as possible, to guarantee the correct operation of equipment and acoustic performance in compliance with current regulations.
