Challenge

As part of the refurbishment of a technical room to integrate four backup generator sets, our client requested our expertise for the design of a custom soundproofed ventilation system. This system needed to comply with acoustic regulations and ensure the proper functioning of the generator sets.

Écib Solution

We designed a casing composed of ALTAÏR’ stratis sound traps and four axial fans. This casing is designed to supply the fresh air required for the proper cooling of the generator sets. The exhaust air from the generator sets is ducted to the outside of the building. The air inlets and outlets are protected externally by our VIRG’ aloa rain louvers.

Acoustic Optimization

For each project, our acoustic solutions are optimized to ensure the acoustic performance specified in the requirements. Acoustic optimization allows for precise sizing of the sound traps and the entire airflow system to guarantee the proper functioning of the equipment and acoustic performance compliant with current regulations.
