Issues
Temperature constraints in a hospital are significant, as laboratories, waiting rooms, operating theatres, recovery rooms, maternity wards, etc. all have different needs. For this reason, hospitals install chillers outside their buildings.
As part of the expansion of a Paris hospital, the installation of 4 high-power chillers required a customized soundproofing solution. Ecib was chosen to design, manufacture and install custom acoustic solutions for this project.

Ecib solution
To avoid impacting the urban environment around the hospital, we designed ALTAÏR' stratis baffle silencers, offering high acoustic performance at low frequencies. The interior of the chiller room was lined with PEGAS'optima acoustic panels. Finally, our POLARIS'prima acoustic doors were used to access the room.
All these solutions have been validated in the pre-project phase by the acoustic engineering firm in charge of the project.
Acoustic Optimization
An acoustic and aeraulic optimization had been carried out by a design office prior to the project.
To adapt to project-specific design constraints, our 3D equipment models enable reliable validation of the system's acoustic attenuation performance and pressure losses.
All our outdoor structures are systematically validated by a mechanical calculation note, guaranteeing the compliance of our solutions with Eurocodes.
