Issues
The safety of data centers depends on a secure power supply in all circumstances, requiring the installation of high-power generators. As a specialist in acoustic solutions for backup generators, Écib was entrusted with a pharaonic project: the design, supply and on-site installation of oversized acoustic containers for two new datacenters in Italy.
Ecib solution
We designed and produced assemblies consisting of a container, a tank and ventilation ducts for fresh air and exhaust air, specially adapted to the acoustic and aeraulic constraints of the project. With a length and height of 15 meters, this assembly is designed for rapid on-site assembly. Blank assemblies are carried out at our Liévin site prior to shipment, and our assembly teams carried out the final assembly in Italy.
Acoustic Optimization
For each datacenter project, our acoustic containers are optimized to guarantee the acoustic performance required in the specifications. Acoustic optimization enables the acoustic solutions to be integrated (panels, silencers, grilles, etc.) to be sized as accurately as possible, to guarantee the correct operation of equipment and acoustic performance in compliance with current regulations.
