Challenge

Data center security relies on a secure power supply in all circumstances, requiring the installation of high-power generator sets. As a specialist in acoustic solutions for backup generator sets, Écib was entrusted with a monumental project: to design, supply, and install oversized acoustic containers on-site for two new data centers in Italy.

Écib Solution

We designed and manufactured assemblies consisting of a container, a tank, and fresh air and exhaust ventilation ducts, specifically adapted to the project's acoustic and air flow constraints. With a length and height of 15 meters, this assembly is designed to ensure quick on-site installation. Trial assemblies are carried out at our Liévin site before shipment, and our installation teams completed the final assembly in Italy.

Acoustic Optimization

For each data center project, our acoustic containers are optimized to guarantee the acoustic performance required by the specifications. Acoustic optimization allows for precise sizing of the acoustic solutions to be integrated (panels, silencers, grilles, etc.) to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment and acoustic performance compliant with current regulations.
