Issues
Our industrial customer had an area of activity where impact noise generated noise levels in excess of regulations for all personnel working in the workshop. Operations are carried out on very large parts, making it necessary to create a tailor-made acoustic solution with a fully retractable, motorized roof.
Ecib solution
We built a custom cabin with the following dimensions: Length 22m x Width 8m x Height 3m.
This cabin offers high acoustic performance, with an overall attenuation of 30 dB after construction.
The retractable roof is motorized, making it possible to handle parts up to 15m long on deck.
To create this cabin, we integrated our PEGAS' optima metal acoustic panels for the walls and roof, offering high performance in sound insulation and absorption.
The entrances were made with our POLARIS' prima doors.
Finally, ALTAÏR' cirris silencers have been integrated into the cab ventilation system.
Acoustic Optimization
This was a very demanding project, with a high noise reduction target and severe technical constraints.
Acoustic tests at the end of the work validated the overall acoustic attenuation of 30 dB. As part of this project, we also designed and installed the ventilation and heating system, as well as the electrical installations.
The entire acoustic solution was checked by an independent inspection body to validate the equipment's compliance with the Machine Directive 2006/42/CE.
