Issues
A steel section production line at our industrial customer's premises was creating noise pollution that was affecting all personnel working in the building.
Our customer wanted to isolate this area from the rest of the workshop, while ensuring that maintenance operations on the line could be carried out with ease.
This production line generated a lot of heat, and a ventilation system had to be dimensioned to ensure that the heat was properly dissipated, without propagating the noise into the workshop.
Ecib solution
We designed a custom acoustic booth to fit precisely around the production line.
Its dimensions (Length 10m x Width 3.2m x Height 3.8m) allow easy movement around the line, or over it for larger maintenance operations.
A handling rail makes it easy to carry out repair operations on the line.
To provide the best acoustic performance, we used our PEGAS'prima acoustic panels.
The entrances were made with our POLARIS' prima doors.
Finally, a customized ventilation system was designed to cool the production line. This system incorporates our ALTAÏR' stratis baffle silencers.
Acoustic Optimization
As with all our projects, the proposed solution represents the best compromise between acoustic performance and ease of use.
Easily removable acoustic hatches have been integrated in areas where access is required for maintenance.
Acoustic glass frames have also been integrated along the length of the cab, allowing the operator to keep an eye on the line's operation without being exposed to its noise pollution.
